WHERE TO STAY IN AMSTERDAM.

Last time I was here we rented one of the coolest apartments I ever stayed in. That one we founded on Airbnb and really recommend everyone just to go in and see all the apartments they have in Amsterdam – so many unique condos – I always do that just for fun to get some inspiration. This time we stayed at Hotel Sofitel Legend the Grand Amsterdam. For us location is everything so this was perfect – close to all parts of the city and a beautiful traditional hotel. They had green shots and almond pancakes for breakfast – only that 😉 x

ON A BOAT IN AMSTERDAM.

I love to do all tourist attractions when I’m visiting a city for the first time. Got some recommendations that we had to go on a canal tour. Most people would say nah that’s cheesy but we said YEEES of course let’s do that. On our first day we we had a gap between two meetings so we decided to jump on this boat with Friendship Amsterdam. Had a few drinks on the boat and think we saw at least 50 of the 165 canals. Did you guys know that the total length of these canals is 50km haha?! Thats why Amsterdam is called  also known as “Venice of the North” x

Where to eat in Amsterdam.

When I was in Amsterdam a few months ago we spent most of our time at the festival we went to. So this time I really wanted to see more of the city – and I most say there’s never a shortage of things to do in Amsterdam. Since we had a lot of work to do we started our days early and finished late so we can make the most of it. We tried a few different restaurants during our stay but this is my top three.

Lion Nior on Reguliersdwarsstraat 28 – their vegan options was to die for, The cocktails at Mr Porter and dancing at the secret bar The Butcher. Our hotel also recommended us to try Izakaya and Il Conte which was also great but not as good as the other places. Enjoy! x

PROPERTY HUNTING IN AMSTERDAM.

Today live from Holland, Amsterdam. Have a lot of training to do this year with some of my colleagues and my boss of course. Lots of travel on our schedule this year but a few luxury travel fairs to go and see. We have big plans for 2018 and I’m super excited as usual. Really happy we started of in Amsterdam since it’s a great city for both business and pleasure hehe 😉 Right now i’m sipping on a coffee and preparing a presentation before we’ll go out and meet one of our agencies x

ONE OF THE WORLD’S GREATEST FESTIVAL EXPERIENCES.

After six previous sold-out editions,  this year I finally got a ticket (!) Amsterdam Open Air is located as usual in recreational park Gaasperpark, it’s about 20 min outside the city. Our friends from Holland helped us with everything and we all became like a big happy family during these days. All djs were absolutely amazing and played awesome music. The atmosphere was on top all weekend 9/10 (no bowl’s) hehe – yey xxx

AMSTERDAM BY DAY.

Amsterdam has more to see than Red Light and Coffee-shops. The city has 165 canals and over 1200 bridges (that is more than Venice). Our first goal wast to find men, wine and lunch in the sun of course. Ended up at Pulitzer Hotel – they have a hidden garden nestled at the center of the hotel. This part’s located away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it is a tranquil hideaway to relax or socialize among seasonal plants and playful sculptures. My favorite was their salted-caramel macaron xx

WHERE TO STAY IN AMSTERDAM?

This is the apartment we’ve rented for the weekend, we are 5 people in total and I mean look at it – wow. A beautiful spacious loft in north Amsterdam and we found it here. Always wanted a bathtub in my living room 😉 See you in 2 days Holland xx

OPEN-AIR AND AMSTERDAM THIS WEEKEND.

Guess where I’m going this weekend? AMSTERDAM! Been one of my must-visit cities forever AND of course when I heard about Open-Air there was no doubt. Going with Rosie and a few of her friends, they seem amazing and we already have a lot planned or us.  More info about the apartment we’re renting and our plans there are comiii’n. SOOOO EXCITED, now I have to write 3 essays and lots of work before I can start organizing my packing x

WHY IS EVERYONE WEARING ORANGE CLOTHES?

Huh? We don’t. Well, actually, we do — but only on certain occasions. Orange is the color of the Dutch Royal Family, which hails from the House of Orange.
